About the product:
It is a high-performance and quick-drying primer industrial paint with liquid-based and anti-corrosive additives added.
Features:
Rapid Primer can also be used as an intermediate and final coat of matte paint. It adheres perfectly to the surface, is flexible, resistant to chemicals and has a high ability to protect the metal surface on which it is applied from corrosion.
Application:
It can be used as an anti-corrosive paint in the painting of large and small-sized metal structures, iron pipes, exposed to high humidity and corrosion, in petrochemical plants, industrial buildings, and industrial areas under repair. It is diluted with thinner and applied to the surface in 2-3 cross layers.
Suggested coloring rules.
1. Airless spraying, the diameter of the nozzle is 0.53-0.63 mm, the pressure of the liquid during painting should not be less than 176 kg/cm2.
2. Air spray, gun De Vilbiss MBC or JGA, compression reservoir 704 or 765, nozzle for liquid.
3. When painting with a brush or a roller brush, a thin layer is applied several times to get a thickness of 75 microns.
Solvent: SAF Rapid Thinner
Cleanser: SAF Thinner.
After finishing the coloring work, the remaining part of the paint in the system should be removed from the tube, gun and color apparatus. Equipment should be thoroughly washed with SAF Thinner cleaner. In accordance with the requirements of safety and environmental protection rules, waste and used dirty containers should be stored in specially designated places and isolated from the environment as they are collected. Applying it on metal surfaces, it creates a durable, friction-resistant, matte coating with high coverage and resistance to corrosion and atmospheric effects. Applying the next layer is carried out after the suggested time, taking into account the atmospheric conditions. If the thickness of one layer of the paint applied as a primer is 75 microns when dry, the color layer will last for a long time. The thickness limit of the wet layer required during painting should not be exceeded. Otherwise, the adhesion for the next layers weakens and the painting technology is completely broken. If the thickness in the dry state is required higher than 75 microns, the painting can be carried out several times by reducing the thickness of the wet layer according to the calculations, on condition of waiting for the interval between layers. If the final layer of paint will not be applied to the surface, in this case, a dry film thickness of 70-75 microns is recommended.
In painting with a roller and an ordinary brush, it is necessary to paint a thin layer several times to get the required thickness.
Drying time:
25ºC touch 30 minutes, full drying 2 hours.
Consumption:
7.5 m2/liter (at a thickness of 75 microns) Actual losses must be taken into account.
Storage conditions:
Store in ventilated warehouses, in original sealed packaging, in a dry and cool place, away from heat and flame.
Storage period:
A minimum of 12 months at 20-25ºC, upon expiry should be inspected and reviewed by a specialist.
