About the product:
It is an acrylic copolymer-based, silky-matte, high-coverage, removable, decorative top coat interior wall paint.
Features:
SAF TEN is a silk matte interior wall paint that adheres to all types of surfaces, does not crack and does not shed, is resistant to wiping with water and washing. It is shock and scratch resistant, easy to apply in any season and dries quickly. Since it is water-based, it has no smell and is environmentally friendly.
Application:
SAF TEN can be used on interior walls and ceilings of buildings, on previously painted and discolored surfaces, on surfaces prepared with putty, and as a semi-final coat on paintable wallpaper. Before applying SAF TEN, the surface must be cleaned of dust, dirt and oil, the protruding parts must be completely leveled and the surface must be dry. Newly plastered surfaces must wait 4 weeks before painting. Plasterboard surfaces should be washed with SAF BINDER solution diluted with water at a ratio of 1:7. After washing with SAF BINDER, wait at least 5-6 hours, then apply the interior wall putty. After the putty is completely dry, the wall should be sanded and wiped with a dry cloth. After that, it should be washed again with SAB BINDER product diluted with water at a ratio of 1:7. After washing with SAF BINDER, wait at least 5-6 hours, SAF TEN first layer 25-30% and second layer 10-20% water is applied by brush or roller. Wait at least 10 hours between coats. If desired, the 3rd layer can be applied in the same way as the 2nd layer.
Drying time:
(at 20ºC/65% relative humidity): Dries in 1 hour. Complete drying is 24 hours.
Thinning:
25-30% in the first layer and 10-20% in the second layer should be dissolved with water.
Consumption:
7-9 m2 area is painted with 1 kg of SAF TEN in a single layer, depending on the smoothness and absorption of the surface. It is recommended to carry out sample work to determine a more accurate consumption.
Storage period:
It’s been 2 years. The ideal storage temperature is between +10ºC and +20ºC. (in the unopened original box, in a cool place, protected from freezing and direct sunlight).
Storage conditions:
In ventilated warehouses, in closed packaging, in a dry and cool place. It should be protected from frost.
Note:
The temperature of the surfaces to be applied and the space should be between +10ºC and +30ºC.
